Our dentists in North York, Toronto offer white fillings and crowns as restorative procedures for patients who have a broken tooth or a cavity.

CEREC Same-Day Appointment For Crowns & Fillings

Our dentists use CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) technology. With CEREC there's no need for us to make an impression and send it to a lab. We won't inconvenience you by asking you to return for a second visit.

White Fillings

At North Park Dental Care, we know that both the functionality and appearance of your smile are important to you. That is why we offer composite (tooth-coloured) fillings to repair broken teeth and cavities.

A dental filling is a restorative material your dentist uses to fix a cavity or tooth damage, like a crack.

What can I expect during my appointment?

Our dentists will first remove any decay from your teeth. If a filling is required, he will use composite resin to fill the cavity.

If a crown is required, we will take impressions of your tooth that will be used to create your custom crown.

Because composite fillings and porcelain crowns are white, they can be closely matched to the colour of your existing teeth to restore your smile.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are porcelain caps that your dentist places on the top of a damaged tooth to help restore its function and protect it from any future damage. Crowns are used when fillings or other types of restorations may not be suitable.

Made from strong porcelain material, dental crowns look and function like natural teeth.

What are some reasons for crowns?

There are a number of situations in which your dentist may use a dental crown, including:

  • To protect weak teeth from breaking
  • To hold together and restore an already broken tooth
  • To cover a tooth after another dental procedure
  • To cover crooked or discoloured teeth
